The Süseler See is a lake in the municipality of Süsel in the Ostholstein district in Schleswig-Holstein . It is located in the Schleswig-Holstein hill country surrounded by a hilly moraine landscape .
The lake with a size of about 77 hectares and a maximum depth of 9.3 meters is located northeast of Süsel . It is fished and there is a swimming area.
It is traversed by the Gösebek coming from the north , which leaves it in the south towards Lake Taschensee .
The lake has an irregular oval shape that runs from northwest to southeast - there it is approx. 1.5 km long and (at the narrowest point) approx. 350 m wide.
