S-car

S-cars are special vehicles used in motorsport . The term is described by the DMSB (Deutscher Motor Sport Bund e.V.) in its guidelines. Off-road vehicles , but also cars , are mainly used for this . Due to their equipment, these are able to help those who have had an accident at motor sport events.

They are used in circuit races and rally events . The equipment carried includes first aid material (emergency kit, etc.), fire extinguishers (powder, foam, etc.), rescue tools (crowbars), hydraulic rescue equipment (scissors / spreader), glass saws, binders, radio technology and safety devices. Yellow all-round lights are installed on the roof of the vehicle to warn the following vehicles at the emergency locations. The vehicles are manned by two people who have both medical training and experience in the field of technical assistance ( fire brigade ). If necessary, the vehicle can also be manned by a doctor.
