SCYCS is a five-piece German rock band from Magdeburg . Her style evolved from punk roots to energetic, melodic pop rock.

history

The band, founded in 1994, won second place in 1997 after several music changes at the F6 Music Award , a major East German competition for young talent. In November of the same year they produced their hit Next November . They subsequently appeared as the opening act for Eros Ramazzotti and Peter Maffay and had guest appearances in the TV soap operas Gute Zeiten, Bad Zeiten and Unter Uns .

With their debut album Pay TV , produced in 1999 , they went on tour in the following years (over 250 concerts) and released their second album Honeydew with WEA Records in 2000 with the hit radio star, which made it into the top ten of the airplay charts.

In spring 2003 HEARTDISCOrecords released the album Play it Loud , with the single Music . An album planned for 2006 no longer appeared.
