Stephan Michme

Stephan Michme (born March 4, 1972 in Magdeburg ) is a German radio presenter at MDR Saxony-Anhalt and was the singer of the rock group SCYCS .

Michme began his training in the early 1990s with a degree in German and sports science at the University of Magdeburg . He came into contact with radio at the private broadcaster radio SAW in Magdeburg, initially as an intern and volunteer, later as a moderator and editor. In 1998 he switched to Fritz in Potsdam as a moderator . There he moderated the program Radiofritzen am Morgen together with Nina Zimmermann . On May 31, 2007, Michme had his last show with Fritz for the time being, to take a break for half a year. He had his first show after the break on December 2, 2007 with the sports Blue Moon .

Since September 5, 2011, Stephan Michme has hosted the morning program "Der Morgen" from MDR Saxony-Anhalt every two weeks (since May 4, 2015, alternating with his colleague Antonia Kaloff). He also moderated the NeueMusik-Blue-Moon auf Fritz every Sunday evening until March 10, 2013, in which he presented newly released music.

In 1998 Michme also began working as a presenter for the Berlin music broadcaster MTV . Here he was seen in various music and special formats, most recently at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2004 in Rome .

In 1994 Michme co-founded the rock group SCYCS. He has produced three albums with her so far. The band's greatest success was the 1998 single Next November , which reached number 14 in the German single charts. The accompanying debut album Pay TV rose to number 23. In order to better promote their single “Next November”, SCYCS also played in several episodes of the RTL soap opera Unter Uns in 1998 . He also took part in the New Rock Conference project , with which he recorded the song Heal Yourself .

In Magdeburg Michme can currently be seen on stage in the Radiocal Nachtflug 4711 . He is also co-operator of the Heartdisco record label. Furthermore, he worked for the rock broadcaster Rockland from around 2004 to April 2006 and had a two-hour, weekly program "Michme und der Rest ist Rock'n'Roll" , in which he featured well-known people from music, sports, the city of Magdeburg and hosted other interesting people and talked to them about music and other topics.

Michme also played football for the old men team of Magdeburg SV Börde in 1949 .

Stephan Michme is married and has one daughter.
