MDR Sachsen-Anhalt - Radio wie wir (formerly: MDR 1 Radio Sachsen-Anhalt) is the state program of the Central German Broadcasting Corporation for Saxony-Anhalt . Since July 2, 2012, the name of the program in MDR Saxony-Anhalt has been shortened, along with the new slogan Das Radio wie wir .

program

The focus of the program is on verbal contributions and information from and about Saxony-Anhalt. Musically, the program was a hit radio with around 80% hits until 2010. Between 2010 and 2013 the station developed from a hit radio to an oldie radio. 85% of international hits from the 1960s to the 1990s are now played, supplemented by 15% German music in which hits are still present.

MDR Sachsen-Anhalt is in the whole of Saxony-Anhalt, as well as in East Lower Saxony , Bremen , Hamburg and in parts of North Rhine-Westphalia , Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania , Brandenburg , Berlin , Saxony , North and East Thuringia and North Hesse largely via one of the broadest range of VHF - Frequencies of Germany, over 94.6 MHz with transmitter location on the Brocken , can be received. In weather conditions that allow extreme overreach, the 94.6 MHz can even be received on the northern slopes of the Franconian Alb , the Franconian Forest and in the Rhön . In the greater Magdeburg and Halle areas, MDR Sachsen-Anhalt can also be received via DAB +.
