The club was created through the merger of the women's football departments of SG Rot-Weiß Hillen from Recklinghausen and SuS Concordia Flaesheim . In the short life of the club, they played successfully in the women's Bundesliga for two years and reached the final of the DFB Cup .

SG Rot-Weiß Hillen
In 1995, the women's team of SG Rot-Weiß Hillen rose to the women's Bundesliga, but had to relegate again after a year. After several years in the regional league, the women's football departments of Rot-Weiß Hillen and Concordia Flaesheim merged and founded a women's football club, the FFC Flaesheim-Hillen.

SuS Concordia Flaesheim
The game and sports club Concordia Flaesheim was founded in Flaesheim in 1969 . In addition to football, the sports shooting , athletics and tennis also belong to the club. After the FFC Flaesheim-Hillen was dissolved, Concordia Flaesheim rebuilt women's teams and the first team rose from the district league to the fourth-class women's association league (Westfalenliga). Since then, the team has been commuting between the Westphalia League and the State League.

With the merger of the two clubs in 1999, they rose again to the Bundesliga and immediately took eighth place. A year later they even improved to fifth place and reached the final of the DFB Cup . Despite leading 1-0 at half-time, 1. FFC Frankfurt were beaten 2-1.
Despite the sporting success, dark clouds appeared on the horizon. Due to financial problems, there were long negotiations about joining FC Schalke 04 . After this failed, the club's management threw in the towel. The association went bankrupt and was dissolved.
