Called YEJ Z was developed by the Swedish railway company Ystad-Eslövs Järnvägsaktiebolag a (YEJ) diesel mechanical locomotives procured, on the railway line Ystad-Eslöv was used. It was given the number Z 20 .
history
The Z 20 was built in 1939 by the German works in Kiel with the serial number 675 as a diesel-mechanical locomotive with a gearbox and power transmission via a jackshaft .
SJ Zsc 141
As part of the general nationalization of the railway , on July 1, 1941, all railway companies that were connected to the Trafikförbundet Ystads Järnvägar consortium , including Ystad – Eslövs Järnvägsaktiebolag , which was founded in 1865 , were nationalized.
The locomotive was taken over by Statens Järnvägar as SJ Zsc 141 in 1941 .
SJ Z6 (III)
As part of the numbering plan change in 1942 for small locomotives at SJ , the locomotive was included in the SJ Z6 (III) series .
SJ Z69 (III)
The last redesignation took place in 1956 when the locomotive was given the series designation Z69 (III) .
Whereabouts
The locomotive was sold to the cement manufacturer Gullhögens Bruks AB in Skövde in 1963 and was in service there until 1979. In 1979 it was sold to the Östra Skånes Järnvägar Museum Association in Kristianstad .
