The SV Beuel 06 is a football club from the Bonn district of Beuel on the right bank of the Rhine.
history
The association goes back to the Beueler FV 06 founded in July or August 1906 . On March 25, 1924, this merged with the FV Alemannia 1919 Beuel to form the Beuel 06 sports club . The club colors are green and white.
After several unsuccessful attempts, the club rose in 1936 to the Gauliga Mittelrhein , the top German league at the time. In the 1937/38 season , the club's greatest success was the Middle Rhine Championship. However, Alemannia Aachen took part in the final round of the German championship because a legitimate protest from Beuel, which earned them the decisive points, was negotiated too long by the DFB and a few days too late was decided.
Since the club could not finance participation in the Oberliga West after the war , SV Beuel 06 moved to the Landesliga Mittelrhein , the highest German amateur class at the time. With the descent in 1954 , the club disappeared from higher-class football. In 1959 he returned to the state league , where he spent the next 15 years and the promotion to the Mittelrhein Association League was narrowly missed several times with the vice championships in 1969, 1972 and 1973.
Since the promotion from the Bonn district league A in 2019, the club has played in the district league.
