The Sports Association Leoben is an Austrian sports club , which since 1945 the latitude and competitive sports is dedicated. The disciplines that the club offers in different grades include ice hockey , fencing , swimming , tennis and table tennis . The three teams in the table tennis section play in the regional and upper leagues . In the past, from 2006 onwards, SV Leoben also took part in the second table tennis league.
history
In 1945 SV Leoben was founded. The focus has always been on popular and competitive sports as well as youth work. In addition to various professional associations, the association is also a member of the umbrella association for sports and physical culture in Austria (ASKÖ).
The president is Leoben 1st Vice Mayor Maximilian Jäger.
Sporting successes
The first men's team of SV Leoben finished the 2017/2018 season in the second table tennis Bundesliga B with rank 8.
