Founded in Niederlahnstein in 1911 as FC Deutschland Niederlahnstein , the club took on the name SV Niederlahnstein after the end of the First World War . In 1950, the club rose to the amateur league of Rhineland , in which it first appeared in the middle season. As sixth in the table, the club qualified for the single-track amateur league. There he played until his promotion to the II. Division in 1956, before he had competed twice in the amateur championship. Four years later, the club even managed to get promoted to the Oberliga Südwest . After the direct relegation, the renewed promotion succeeded, but the club could not assert itself in the top division without a win of the season. This was followed by direct relegation to the amateur league, before the club even relegated to the fourth division in 1966. A year later, the promotion followed, after which the team was able to hold in the amateur league.

After the merger

In May 1973 the clubs merged to form SG Eintracht Lahnstein. After an eleventh place in the table in the first year, the club missed relegation in the following season when they were tenth in the table. With this, the club said goodbye to higher-class football. In their (for the time being) last season 2010/11, the first team of the club played in the sixth class Rhineland League, from which they were relegated from the bottom of the table. At the beginning of the 2011/12 season, all teams were withdrawn from the game. In December 2011 the association was dissolved due to bankruptcy.
