Nowe Karwno (German Neu Karwen ) is a very small village in the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship . It belongs to the rural community Czarna Dąbrówka ( Schwarz Damerkow ) in the Powiat Bytowski ( Bütow district ).

Transport links

You can get to Nowe Karwno via two road connections that lead from Wargowo ( Vargow ) (on the connecting road from Mikorowo ( Mickrow ) to Łupawa ( Lupow )) or Karwno ( Karwen ) into the small village. There is no rail connection.

history

The village formerly called Neu Karwen was created after 1770 from royal amelioration funds . The colony belonged to the municipality of Karwen (now in Polish: Karwno) and initially consisted of five farms on the old post route from Berlin to Prussia . In its history, Neu Karwen is linked to that of the Karwen mother community. Until 1945 it belonged to the district of Stolp in the administrative district of Köslin in the Prussian province of Pomerania . Since 1945 the place with the new name Nowe Karwno belongs to Poland, is now a place in the Gmina Czarna Dąbrówka and from the district of Stolp in the Powiat Bytowski in the Pomeranian Voivodeship (1975 to 1998 Slupski Voivodeship ) "changed".

Churches and denominations

Ecclesiastically was new Karwen before 1945 in the Protestant parish Mickrow (today Polish: Mikorowo) in the church district Stolp-Altstadt in Ostsprengel the ecclesiastical province of Pomerania of the Prussian Union of churches incorporated.
