Wargówko (German Neu Vargow , Kashubian Wôrgòwkò ) is a very small place in the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship . He belongs to the municipality of Czarna Dąbrówka ( Schwarz Damerkow ) in the powiat Bytowski ( Bütow district ).

Geographical location and transport links

Wargówko is located near the old postal route between Mikorowo ( Mickrow ) and Łupawa ( Lupow ), southeast of the former district town of Słupsk ( Stolp ) and north of the current district town of Bytów ( Bütow ). There is no train connection.

history

The former Neu Vargow was laid out as a Vorwerk zu Vargow (now Polish: Wargowo) and has grown together with the history of this village. Until 1945 it belonged as a district of Vargower (next to Alt Vargow and Rehhof (Polish: Kukulno)) to the district and registry office district Mickrow (Mikorowo) and to the district court district Lauenburg in Pomerania (Lębork). It was in the district of Stolp in the administrative district of Köslin in the Prussian province of Pomerania .

Since 1945, the place now called Wargówko has been part of the Polish Gmina Czarna Dąbrówka in the powiat Bytowski in the Pomeranian Voivodeship (1975 to 1998 Slupsk Voivodeship ). Wargówko is incorporated into the Wargowo ( Vargow ) Schulzenamt and currently has nine residents.

Until 1945 Neu Vargow was parish in the Protestant parish Mickrow in the parish of Stolp-Altstadt in the church province of Pomerania of the Church of the Old Prussian Union .

Since 1945 Wargówko belongs to the Catholic parish Mikorowo in the deanery Łupawa ( Lupow ) in the diocese of Pelplin of the Catholic Church in Poland . On the evangelical side, the place is now part of the Kreuzkirche parish in Słupsk in the diocese of Pomerania-Greater Poland of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland .
