Skotawsko (German Schottofske , 1938–1945 Schottow , Kasch . Skòtawskò ) is a small Kashubian settlement in the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship . It belongs to the municipality of Czarna Dąbrówka ( Schwarz Damerkow ) in the powiat Bytowski ( Bütow district ).
Geographical location
Skotawsko located in the eastern area of the Landscape Park Stolpetal (Polish: Park Krajobrazowy Dolina Slupi), nestled between the Jezioro Skotawsko Wielkie [also: Jezioro Skotawsko Duże ] ( Big Schottofske Lake ) and the Jezioro Skotawsko Małe ( Little Schottofske Lake ) and at the River Skotawa ( Schottow , also Schottof ), which flows into the Stolpe (Słupia) after about 30 kilometers .
The small village can be reached from Voivodeship Road 212 (here part of the former Reich Road 158 ): either via a land route from Nożyno ( Groß Nossin ), or via a road via Kartkowo ( Kartkow ). There is no train connection.
history
In 1910 the manor district Schottofske had 107 inhabitants.
In 1945 the German Schottofske or Schottow became the Polish Skotawsko. It is part of the Gmina Czarna Dąbrówka and is now in the powiat Bytowski in the Pomeranian Voivodeship (1975 to 1998 Stolp Voivodeship ). Three residents are registered here.
