Drążkowo ( German  Neuhof , Kashubian Nowi Dwór ) is a very small Kashubian settlement in the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship and belongs to the municipality of Czarna Dąbrówka ( Schwarz Damerkow ) in the Bytowski powiat ( Bütow district ).

Geographical location and transport links

Drążkowo is located on an old postal route between Mikorowo ( Mickrow ) and Łupawa ( Lupow ) in Western Pomerania . There is no rail connection.

history

In 1523 the Vorwerk, then known as Neuhof, was named as a part of Karwen (now in Polish Karwno ), which was owned by Hans von Wobeser , along with the forge and the heather jug . Around 1784, among others, are listed for Karwen: Neuhof, the newly established Neu Karwen (Nowe Karwno) colony , the forge and two cottages. In its history, Neuhof is connected to the municipality of Karwen and until 1945 belonged to the district of Stolp in the administrative district of Köslin in the Prussian province of Pomerania . After the end of the war in 1945, the small town was placed under Polish administration together with the whole of Western Pomerania and has been known as Drążkowo since then . The village now belongs to Gmina Czarna Dąbrówka in powiat Bytowski in the Pomeranian Voivodeship (1975 to 1998 Slupsk Voivodeship ). Here it is incorporated into the Schulzenamt Wargowo ( Vargow ).

Ecclesiastically was Neuhof before 1945 in the Protestant parish Mickrow in the church district Stolp-old city in the ecclesiastical province of Pomerania of the Prussian Union of churches the parish. Today Mikorowo is the seat of a Catholic parish in the deanery Łupawa in the Pelplin diocese of the Catholic Church in Poland . On the evangelical side, it is assigned to the Kreuzkirche parish in Słupsk ( Stolp ) in the diocese of Pomerania-Greater Poland of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland .
