Maximilian Jagielski
Maximilian Jagielski (born January 24, 1876 in Zerbst ; † June 12, 1912 in Hanover ) was a German architect .
Life
Details of Jagielski's training are not known to this day, he apparently completed an apprenticeship as a bricklayer. He lived and worked in Kristiania ( Norway ) for several years before coming to Hanover in 1901. He worked there for a time with the architect Georg Thofehrn . When he died at the age of 36, he had made a name for himself primarily through Catholic church buildings in historicist styles. He was also active as a marine painter . Jagielski was a member of the Hanover Architects Guild .
