Career

society

Wilko Risser started his career at Ramblers , a club from Namibia, for which he played until 2003. For the 2003/04 season he moved to Germany for SpVgg EGC Wirges , which played in the Oberliga Südwest . Since he could not assert himself there, he moved to FV Engers 07 for the 2004/05 season , who also played in the Oberliga Südwest . After he was not a regular player there either, he left the FV in 2006 and moved to SG Eintracht Lahnstein , which played in the Rhineland Association League. In the 2006/07 season he scored 20 goals and then moved to FC Schalke 04 II in the Oberliga Westfalen . He left this again after the 2007/08 season. On August 5, 2008 he signed a contract with the regional league club Eintracht Trier . For the 2010/11 season he received no new contract in Trier and moved to SV Elversberg , where his contract was not extended beyond the season. After a few months without a club, he signed a contract with the Maltese first division club FC Floriana in early December 2011 . From February 2012 Risser played for Aldershot Town in the fourth English division . In the summer of 2012, however, his contract was not renewed and he was without a club. From December 2012 he played for the South African first division club and promoted Chippa United FC . There he signed a contract until the end of June 2013. Apparently Risser was no longer in Chippa's squad since February 2013 and ended his playing career after the season.

National team

Risser played his first international match with the Namibian national team against Libya on June 2, 2007 , scoring two goals. He also took part in the 2008 African Cup of Nations in Ghana . He ended his career in the national team in 2011.
