Oliver Hanjorge Risser (born September 17, 1980 in Windhoek ) is a former German-Namibian soccer player. Like his brother Wilko, he was a national player for Namibia until 2011 .

In his youth, Risser played for the Namibian football club Ramblers in his hometown Windhoek and was also in the men's squad for them. At the age of 20 he moved to Germany and played for SpVgg EGC Wirges in the Oberliga Südwest .
From the 2003/04 season, the 1.88 m tall defender played for the Borussia Dortmund amateur team . In two years he came to 33 games and scored one goal. Then he went to SV Sandhausen . In April 2006 he played for two months in Iceland with Breiðablik Kópavogur .
Risser played from the 2006/07 season at the German top division club Bonner SC and was then initially without a club until he moved to the second team of Hannover 96 in February 2008 , for which he played until the end of the 2007/08 season. When his contract expired, he could not find a new employer due to a torn cruciate ligament before he joined the Norwegian third division club Manglerud Star in March 2009 .
On August 21, 2009 Risser was loaned by Maglerud Stars to the Norwegian first division club FC Lyn Oslo . When the club was dissolved on June 30, 2010, all players became unemployed. On August 21, 2010 Risser signed a contract with the Finnish first division club Kuopion PS . From January 2011 to July 2011 he was without a club before he signed a contract with English fourth division club Swindon Town for two years. At Swindon Risser was appointed by coach Paolo Di Canio as the successor to Jonathan Douglas , as the new captain of his team. At the beginning of the 2012/13 season he moved to Stevenage FC on loan . From late 2012 to October Risser played for Aldershot Town in the English Football League Two . He then played for the Belgian KFC Ooster Zonen Oosterwijk until January 2014 before moving back to his home country to join the Ramblers.
successes
Risser took part in the 2008 African Cup of Nations and was there for two games. He played a total of 30 international matches from 2002 to 2011 in which he could not score.
