The SV Raisting is a sports club from the Upper Bavarian municipality Raisting . In addition to the successful football department , the club also offers gymnastics , karate , line dance , stick shooting , taekwondo , tennis , table tennis , volleyball and zumba .

history

The club was founded on May 28, 1924 and joined the MTV Dießen as a sports department. After a gym and a soccer field had been built in Sölb, they started their own business in 1924 as SV Raisting. The weightlifter Dominikus Huttner achieved his first national successes, finishing third in the German championship in 1933 and setting a world record in one-armed pushing at 87 kilograms in 1936.

After the interruption of sports operations during the Second World War , the club was re-established on July 8, 1946. In 1948, the football department was promoted to the district class for the first time. After decades in the lower leagues of the Zugspitze football district, the club rose to the regional league for the first time in 1994. After relegation in 1997, he was promoted again in 1999 and promoted to the regional league in 2002 . After a season, Raisting got down again. After the second league promotion in 2007, the club lasted two seasons. In the course of the league reform of the Bavarian Football Association , the club rose to the state league for the third time in 2012. There he was runner-up in 2013 under coach Robert Färber. After promotion games against SV Pettstadt and DJK Vilzing , the club qualified for the Bayern League . Relegation to the Landesliga Südwest had to be accepted in 2015.
