history
The association was founded on April 25, 1914 shortly before the outbreak of the First World War . Which really did not start any activity until the 1920s. After the Second World War the club went uphill and at least in the 1947/48 season the club played in the Landesliga Vorderpfalz . After this season, the club rose due to the 14th and last place. In the 70s, there should be another heyday for the club. The later 1. FC Kaiserslautern player Karl Wanger , who at the end of his career also became a player-coach at Roxheim, also comes from the football players of this time . The club's tennis department was also established during this period.
In 1994 the SV merged with the sports company Bobenheim 1908 and the game association Roxheim 1927 DJK to form the new sports club Bobenheim-Roxheim . The tennis department Roxheim remained independent and was awarded the SV Roxheim 1914 Tennis independently .
