The FC Teutonia Netzschkau is a German sports club based in the Saxon Netzschkau in the Vogtlandkreis .

history

Established until the end of the Second World War

The club was founded on June 14, 1911 in the Gasthaus Heiterer Blick as FC Netzschkau . In July 1912 the dissolution and the simultaneous re-establishment with all members as FC Teutonia Netzschkau took place . On May 30, 1920, the lawn was inaugurated. The 1922/23 season is celebrated at the end with the title of district champion. On April 7, 1923, the union with the ski association followed. Due to the now numerous departments, the name was changed to SV Teutonia Netzschkau .

From the 1924/25 season onwards , the team was allowed to take part in the Central German Football Championship within the Gau Göltzschtal . In the first season here the fourth place could be occupied with 9:11 points. In April 1924, the decision to build a club house was made. The first meeting there followed on August 2nd of the same year. After the 1928/1929 season, the team even won their district's cup for the first time. After the 1929/30 season , the Gau Göltzschtal was then integrated into the Gau Vogtland . From now on, the club played in the Göltzschtal season . After the 1932/33 season , the club was then incorporated into the new Gau Sachsen. The club should then no longer play a major role in this. In 1935, the company moved to the Siedlungsstraße sports field .

In the 1943/44 season the club was champion of the 1st district class Plauen with 32: 0 points . This allowed the team to take part in the promotion games to the Gauliga Sachsen . However, in the end the ascent could not be achieved. In a KSG with games from neighboring locations Reichenbach , Treuen and Limbach . Did the team still play in the 1944/45 season in the then highest German league.

Post-war and GDR times

In 1946 there were then in the form of the ZSG Netzschkau and the SG Netzschkau , each newly founded clubs that used the former sports field. With Stahl Netzschkau there was then a successor for these clubs. This rose to the district class in 1952 and became Sachsenmeister with the B-Jugend. Also in 1952, the BSG Progress Netzschkau was founded , which used the Turnerbund sports field . In addition, there were other clubs with Emperor Netzschkau and Rotation Schwarzhammermühle that played on the Delicata sports field . In addition, BSG Motor Netzschkau was founded in 1952 . In 1963 the company was renamed SG Motor Nema Netzschkau in order to make the economic support from the company more visible. Another name change then took place again in 1974 in BSG Nema Netschkau . Until 1990, however, only a few district championship titles were achieved through play. The sporting affiliation was limited to the district class.

After German unification

In 1991 the BSG Motor Nema Netzschkau merged with the SV 1990 Netzschkau, which had emerged from the BSG Progress, to form TSV Nema Netzschkau . The name of the main sponsor remained in the club's name, but the sponsor also ceased to exist in the year of the merger. By 1997, a new sports hall with three fields was built on the sports ground. In the year the C-youth became district champion and for the first time a women's team took part in the game. In the following year, the B and E youth also became district champions. In addition, the floodlights of the alternative area were replaced. This was followed in the following years by further structural measures in the expansion of the site as well as the renovation of it. In 2007 the team was able to celebrate promotion to the district league A. The women's team was also able to win the local cup in 2010.

Spin-off as an independent department

In 2015, the previous soccer department was spun off into the new club FC Teutonia Netzschkau. This took over the playing rights of all teams as well as the members of the previous TSV. The first season in the district league A as an independent club was the 2016/17 season. At the end of this stand the club with 37 points in eighth place. But already after the 2017/18 season, the team had to start relegation to the district league B with only 12 points over last place . The 2018/19 season was then again finished in eighth place, this time with 27 points. So the club is still playing in the same league this season.
