SWR Aktuell Rheinland-Pfalz is the news program in the Rhineland-Palatinate state program on SWR television . Until March 31, 2011, the program was called Rheinland-Pfalz aktuell , until February 5, 2017 SWR Landesschau aktuell Rheinland-Pfalz .

The focus is on events from Rhineland-Palatinate as well as news from Germany and the world. The broadcast title SWR Aktuell Rheinland-Pfalz applies to all issues. The issues at 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. are classic television news. The news magazines at 6:00 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. also deal with the background of the events in their reporting. There are also talks with reporters, experts or politicians.
Since November 3, 2014, there has been a half-hour broadcast at 7:30 p.m., replacing the original version at 7:45 p.m. A double moderator, similar to the Tagesthemen or the heute-journal, is in use. The main moderator or anchorman is Sascha Becker .
