Fatma Mittler-Solak

Fatma Mittler-Solak (born April 13, 1977 in Frankenthal ) is a German television presenter of Turkish descent.

Radio and television

After graduating from the Elisabeth-Selbert -Schule in Karlsruhe , Mittler-Solak studied educational science and political science at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg from 1998 to 2004 . In Tübingen she studied cultural studies, German and art history. She wrote her master's thesis on "Learning through the mass media for the integration of migrants". During her studies she already worked as a reporter for Südwestfunk in Baden-Baden and in the state studio. After her first position as a presenter at the private radio broadcaster sunshine live , she began to work as a freelancer for Südwestrundfunk (SWR) during her studies . There she moderated from 1999 to 2003 for the youth radio program Dasding and from 2002 also for the television program DasDing.tv . In March 2003 she switched to SWR3 as a reporter . From 2004 to 2006 she completed a traineeship at SWR.

After working as an editor at SWR4 Rhineland-Palatinate in the “Current Information and State Policy” department, she moderated the weekday service program coffee or tea on SWR television from August 2006 to September 2010, alternating weekly with Heike Greis , Jürgen Hörig and Martin Seidler . Since March 2007, Mittler-Solak has also been the spokesperson for the regional news program SWR Landesschau aktuell Rheinland-Pfalz . Since July 2010 she has moderated the weekly service program ARD-Buffet, alternating weekly with Evelin König , Florian Weber and Holger Wienpahl . Since January 2018 Mittler-Solak has been moderating the search and prevention magazine Kriminalreport Südwest on SWR television.
