Sabine Rosina Hirler (* 1961 in Weilheim an der Teck ) is a German music teacher, music therapist, author, composer and lecturer.

Sabine Hirler studied music from 1981 to 1985 at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart (majoring in rhythm , guitar and recorder). Since 2003 she has been an alternative practitioner for psychotherapy and as a music therapist. From 2009 to 2011 she completed a master's degree in social sciences at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern , department of social sciences / adult education. Since September 2012 she has been a doctoral student with Rolf Arnold at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern, subject area of ​​education.

Fields of work

Sabine Hirler works as a freelance lecturer for rhythm and music in pedagogical and therapeutic fields of numerous educational institutions, especially in Germany, but also in Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy and China.

In 2002 she founded an educational-therapeutic music institute "Rhythmics in Education and Therapy".

In addition to her work at various technical schools for social education, she teaches guitar and recorders as an instrument teacher. The target group for their rhythm lessons and their rhythmic-therapeutic work are children and adolescents from 1 to 14 years and children, adolescents and adults with mental and physical disabilities. Intergenerational projects with very old people and children between 3 and 5 years of age complement her range of activities.
