The Friedrich publishing house is a German publishing house in Hanover . The Klett Group company primarily publishes specialist educational magazines .

Companies

The publishing house in the center of Hanover employs around 100 people in the editorial, media design, reader service, marketing, accounting, administration and information technology departments. With 46 magazines (as of 2010), the publisher accompanies subject teaching in primary and secondary schools.

Publishing history

  • 1960 Start with the magazine Theater heute, Erhard Friedrich Verlag founded
  • In 1968, after other cultural magazines, the EFV's first pedagogical magazine, Kunst + Studium, appeared. Playing and learning started at Velber Verlag (publisher Erhard Friedrich) .
  • 1973 Praxis Deutsch followed as the second educational magazine
  • 1983 Ernst Klett Verlag took a 50% stake in Friedrich
  • 1985 Friedrich took over the Kallmeyer Verlag
  • In 1995 Erhard Friedrich gradually made the generation transition and handed over the publishing management to new hands - the publishers and the publishing service work together under the umbrella of the Friedrich Beteiligungsgesellschaft
