Sabine Kusterer

Sabine Kusterer (born January 4, 1991 ) is a German weightlifter .

Life

Sabine Kusterer lives and trains in Leimen and starts in the 58 kg or 63 kg class. From 2006 to 2009 she was German youth champion, in 2008 also European youth champion (58 kg).

In the 63 kg class, Kusterer (61.4 kg body weight) was at the 'International German Youth Championships' on 7/8. November 2008 in Ohrdruf after Sinclair points best before Christin Ulrich , Breitungen , with 221.78 points for 85 kg in snatching and 100 kg in pushing; Ulrich (63.0 kg) won this class in the classic classification with 82 kg / 104 kg.

At the 2010 World Championships , she took 17th place in the duel in the 58 kg class with 22nd places in each of the individual disciplines. Although she was able to increase her personal best at the 2011 World Championships to 192 kg (= 87 kg + 105 kg) in the duel rating, that was only enough for 21st place. At the 2011 European Championships , she finished 7th with 188 kg duel performance 58 kg class ahead of the same performance but 300 g heavier Finn Heidi Harju ; the 85 kg in the snatch represent 6th place. According to Sinclair points, the duel performance was the fifth best. At the European Championships in 2012 , 192 kg (87 kg + 105 kg) was only enough for 9th place.

At the European Championships in 2013 , she only had two valid attempts and was seventh in the 58 kg class in the individual disciplines and the duel with 188 kg (snatching 85 kg; pushing 103 kg).

Sabine Kusterer achieved two German records at the 2013 German Championships in Ohrdruf in the class up to 63 kilograms. 92 kilos in snatch and 202 kilos in a duel.

At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, Sabine Kusterer was able to achieve 10th place in the overall ranking as the winner of the B group. She achieved this with new personal bests in the 58 kilo category.
