The Sabor ( Portuguese Rio Sabor ) is a river in the region of northern Portugal that flows entirely through the Bragança district . It rises a few kilometers north of the city of Bragança , flows first in a southerly and later in a southwesterly direction and finally flows into the Douro about four kilometers west of the small town of Torre de Moncorvo .

The Baixo Sabor power plant complex, consisting of two barrages, was built on the lower reaches of the Sabor in the 2010s .
