Sabrina Bemmelen (born May 22, 1986 in Aachen ) is a German soccer player and coach.
Career
As a player
Bemmelen started her career at FC Germania Freund before moving to FC Teutonia Weiden in 2003. After five years in Weiden, she went to SV Eilendorf 1914 at the beginning of the 2008/09 season in order to join the newly founded women's football department of Alemannia Aachen after just one season . There she was the top scorer with 17 goals in 25 games in the Regionalliga West in the 2010/11 season. She then moved to SGS Essen in the German women's Bundesliga . In Essen she made her Bundesliga debut against FC Bayern Munich on September 25, 2011 , but only two more appearances followed, in which she only scored one goal. For the 2012/13 season she returned to Alemannia Aachen. There she succeeded after 30 games in two seasons and 25 goals in the 2013/14 season, the championship of the Regionalliga West and the associated promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga South . Since the 2017/18 season she has been playing for the national division FC Eintracht Kornelimünster.
As a trainer
From 2012, in addition to her active playing career, she was also assistant trainer of the U-13 juniors at Alemannia Aachen. Since the 2017/18 season she has been the coach of the national division FC Eintracht Kornelimünster.
