Alexander Feld (born June 15, 1993 in Krefeld ) is a German handball player .

The 1.88 meter tall middle back player has been playing for Bundesliga club HSG Wetzlar since 2019 .

Career

Alexander Feld started playing handball in 1999 in his hometown at SSV Krefeld-Gartenstadt. In 2006 he moved to HSG Düsseldorf . After six years he left the Rhine metropolis and joined the second division club SC DHfK Leipzig , with whom he missed promotion to the 1st Bundesliga by just two points in the 2013/14 season. In July 2014 he was signed by the Bundesliga club HSV Hamburg . After HSV Hamburg filed for bankruptcy in January 2016, he joined TSV Bayer Dormagen . From the 2016/17 season he was under contract with TSG Friesenheim . With Friesenheim he was promoted to the Bundesliga in 2017. Feld moved to HSG Wetzlar in 2019.

Field 69 played for the German youth national team and 35 international matches for the junior team. He took part in two world and two European championships.

Alexander Feld is a sports soldier by profession .
