Philip Henningsson (born June 14, 1995 in Hörby ) is a Swedish handball player .

Career

Philip Henningsson started playing handball in his hometown at IK Lågan. In 2011 the back court player IFK Ystad HK joined. In the summer of 2015 Henningsson moved to the Swedish first division club IFK Kristianstad , but he was then loaned to his old club for one season. With Kristianstad he won the Swedish championship in 2017 and 2018. He has been under contract with the German Bundesliga club HSG Wetzlar since the 2020/21 season .

Henningsson has been part of the Swedish national team since 2017 . With Sweden he moved into the final of the European Championship 2018 .
