I Need You ( English I need you ) a song which is British band The Beatles in 1965. It appeared on the album Help! It was written by George Harrison . It is the second track Harrison wrote for the band after Don't Bother Me .

The text of the song assumes the absence of the addressed: "Please come on back to me, I'm lonely as can be." ('Please come back to me, I'm as lonely as I can be.') Assuming autobiographical traits, the target is Pattie Boyd , Harrison's girlfriend, whom he married the following year. Harrison doesn't mention this song in his autobiography.
