Filip Mirkulovski ( Macedonian Филип Миркуловски ; born September 14, 1983 in Skopje , SR Macedonia , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Macedonian handball player .

The 1.89 m tall and 91 kg heavy right-hander is mostly used in the middle of the back area and bears the number 13 on the national team.

Filip Mirkulovski began playing handball at the age of 13 in his hometown near Makedonia Skopje, where he was able to gain his first experience as a professional. Since 2003, with the exception of the 2004/05 season when he played for Mladost Bogdanci, he has been playing for RK Metalurg Skopje . With Metalurg he won the Macedonian championship six times and the cup five times. He also reached the quarter-finals of the 2007/08 EHF Cup , the 2008/09 European Cup Winners' Cup and the 2012/13 EHF Champions League . In the EHF Champions League 2013/14 he was defeated by THW Kiel in the quarterfinals . At the beginning of February 2015 he moved to TSV Hannover-Burgdorf . He has been under contract at HSG Wetzlar since summer 2015 . In the summer of 2020, Mirkulovski became assistant coach at HSG Wetzlar, whose squad he continues to be a standby player.

With the Macedonian national team Filip Mirkulovski took part in the 2009 World Cup (11th place), the 2012 European Championship (5th place), the 2013 World Cup (14th place) and the 2014 European Championship (10th place). So far, he has played 126 international matches in which he scored 315 goals. (As of December 11, 2016)
