Sabrina Karnbaum (born November 17, 1990 ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career hall

Sabrina Karnbaum was a player in the second women's volleyball team at SV Lohhof , which was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga as a regional league champion in the 2008/09 season. The daughter of the former Bundesliga player Michael Karnbaum had her first appearance in the 2nd Bundesliga in the first league game of the 2009/10 season in a 3-1 defeat at VV Grimma . In the following games, "Sabse" alternated regularly on the diagonal position with her teammate Yanina Weiland until her ligament tore at the end of January 2010 , since then Karnbaum has only been able to come on as a service player sporadically. In 2015 she moved to the second division promoted DJK Sportbund München-Ost and in 2016 to league competitor AllgäuStrom Volleys Sonthofen .

Karnbaum has also been playing beach volleyball since 2006. Stefanie Ebner was her partner in her youth . In 2010 she also played with Valeria Fedosova . With Richarda Zorn , Karnbaum also sporadically started on the Smart Beach Tour . From 2015 to 2019 she played with Natascha Niemczyk , with whom she was much more successful. In 2016, Niemczyk / Karnbaum won the gold medal at the Smart Super Cup in Binz. In the following years further top placements and medals followed on the Smart Beach Tour and the Techniker Beach Tour. In 2017 they also won the title of "German University Masters" and achieved fourth place internationally at the CEV Satellite in Vilnius . They also took part in the German championship in Timmendorfer Strand four times in a row . In 2019 they won the Techniker Beach Tour at the tournament in Dresden . After a fifth place in the German championship , Karnbaum ended her career.
