Sabrina Stern (actually Sabrina Morawietz; born Sabrina Otto on December 8, 1982 in Hilden , North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a German pop singer .
Life
Sabrina Stern comes from a musical family. Her father was a professional musician. As a teenager she won a singing competition organized by the German youth magazine Mädchen and recorded a Tabaluga song with Peter Maffay that was never published. She was a singer in cover bands and in 2007 released the album Ryanne. In 2010 Sabrina Morawietz signed a record deal with Size Music and released her first single, I get along well , under the artist name Sabrina Stern , with which she won the German Rock and Pop Prize 2010 . In 2011 she worked as a clerk at the Wilhelmshaven District Court . For her second single, Love at First Sight , she received an award from the European Society for Music in 2012. In 2011 she took part in the Swiss preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest .
In 2015 her first German-language album was released, Ich bin so wie ich bin . Since 2016 she has also been publishing on her own label Sternenklar .
With the single Du und ich she placed in the NDR-1 hit parade for seven weeks .
In addition to being a singer, she is also active as an influencer . Her Facebook page, on which she mainly presents herself in clogs , had over 300,000 followers in November 2018. Stern lives in Emsdetten .
Stern appeared repeatedly nationwide and had solo appearances at festivals and festivals.
