Norliyana Kamaruddin (* 26. March 1991 in Negeri Sembilan ) is a malaysisische athlete, referring to the heptathlon has specialized and also in the high jump is launched.

Athletic career

Norliyana Kamaruddin competed in her first international competition in 2007 when she won the bronze medal at the Commonwealth Youth Games in Pune with a skipped 1.71 m. In 2017 she took part in the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur for the first time , where she finished fourth in the heptathlon with a new national record of 5247 points. The following year she reached tenth place at the Asian Games in Jakarta with 4657 points. In 2019, she won the silver medal in the heptathlon at the Southeast Asian Games in Capas with 4906 points behind Filipino Sarah Dequinan and took fifth place in the high jump with a height of 1.75 m.

In 2014 and 2016 Kamaruddin became the Malaysian heptathlon champion.
