The Sacco (also Tolero , Latin Tolerus or Trerus ) is a river in central Italy . It is a right tributary of the Liri , into which it flows at Ceprano in the province of Frosinone .

It arises at Colle Cero in the Simbruin Mountains through the confluence of the Della Valle and Palomba streams and is 87 km long. It flows through the Ciociaria landscape in a south-easterly direction.

The Sacco valley is the most densely industrialized region of Lazio after the greater Rome area . This is also the reason for the heavy soiling of the Sacco.
