The Sachs Roadster 800 is a motorcycle presented in 2000 by the company Sachs Fahrzeug- und Motorentechnik GmbH from Nuremberg , also known under the Sachs Bikes brand . From 2000 to 2004 the naked bike was manufactured in two series, the basic model and the special model Sachs b-805. In 2003 the Sachs s-805 was presented as another special model; a production was not realized. The water-cooled V-twin unit and the cardan drive come in a modified form from the Suzuki (VS 800 GL Intruder or Suzuki VX 800 ). The Sachs Roadster was designed by the Sachs designer Hartmut Huhn and the design artists of the Target Group. The introductory price was DM 15,490 or CHF 13,990; the 2003 selling price was EUR 8,177.00.
