Sachsenburg-Irbersdorf was a short-lived municipality in Saxony from 1992 to the end of 1993 . Today it forms the village of Sachsenburg / Irbersdorf of the city of Frankenberg / Sa. in the Saxon district of Central Saxony .

The municipality of Sachsenburg-Irbersdorf was legally formed on January 1, 1992 from the merger of Irbersdorf and Sachsenburg in the Hainichen district , but statistically only on July 1, 1992. At the end of December 31, 1993, Sachsenburg-Irbersdorf was dissolved and on January 1, 1994 to the city of Frankenberg / Sa. incorporated. The community existed for only two years.

On December 31, 1993, the municipality had an area of ​​around 909 hectares and 914 inhabitants.
