The SadWolf Verlag is a German book publisher . It was founded by Etienne Sadek and Johannes Wolfers in 2014 in Bremen . The publisher's name can be traced back to the last names of the two founders.
concept
The publishing program mainly comprises fiction for adult readers from the genres of social fiction , thriller , history , fantasy and science fiction . As one of the few German-language publishers, SadWolf Verlag pursues the marketing of noir literature, which is still little known in Germany . Following a tender by the publisher, ten short stories from various genres with a focus on noir were selected and published in March 2018 in the publisher's first noir anthology , which was awarded the German Phantastik Prize 2019 as the best German anthology.

In addition to spreading the genre of noir literature on the German market, the publishing house focuses on promoting young authors. The publications also include works by established authors such as Helen Hollick , Gunnar Kunz , Ralph Llewellyn , Micaela Bara , Jörg Erlebach , Petra Renée Meineke , Sophie Nuglisch and Dominique Stalder .
