Jordan Benjamin Richards (born September 25, 1993 in Melbourne ) is an Australian volleyball player .

Career

Richards began his career in 2006 at Eltham High School. From 2009 he was trained at the Greater Melbourne Volleyball Academy. With the junior national team he took part in the World Cup in Brazil. In the 2013/14 season, the outside attacker played outside Australia for the first time and won the Dutch championship with Landstede Zwolle . He then moved to the Swiss club Volley Schönenwerd . With the senior national team , Richards took part in the 2015 World Cup and the 2016 World Volleyball League . In the 2016/17 season he played for the Italian second division pool Libertas Cantù . After another World League participation , he was active in the A2 series at Videx Grottazzolina . In 2018 he took part in the World Cup with Australia . He then moved to Sporting Lisbon . With the club he was Portuguese runner-up in the 2018/19 season. He was then signed by the German-Austrian Bundesliga club Hypo Tirol Alpenvolleys Haching .
