Paulo Victor Costa da Silva (born May 12, 1986 in Corumbá ) is a Brazilian volleyball player .

Career

Costa da Silva started his career in 2006 with São José Vôlei. In the 2007/08 season he played in Argentina for the Azul Voley Club. The diagonal attacker then switched to the Austrian first division club Hypo Tirol volleyball team Innsbruck . With Innsbruck he was Austrian champion three times in a row. He also won the Central European MEVZA League in 2009 and played in the Champions League . In 2011 he returned to Brazil. There he won the Pan American Cup with the Brazilian national team and was elected MVP. He then played for RJX Rio de Janeiro . With the club he won the Club World Cup in 2013 . He then moved to Sada Cruzeiro Vôlei in Belo Horizonte . In 2013 he was signed by the Italian first division club Globo Scarabeo Civita Castellana . From 2016 to 2019 he played again in the Brazilian league at Sesc Rio de Janeiro . In 2019 he moved to the German-Austrian Bundesliga club Hypo Tirol Alpenvolleys Haching .
