Sašo Štalekar (born May 3, 1996 in Slovenj Gradec ) is a Slovenian volleyball player .

Career

Štalekar started his career at OK Mislinja . In 2015 he switched to Calcit Kamnik . With the club, the middle blocker won the Slovenian Cup in 2016 and 2017, while Kamnik had to admit defeat against ACH Volley Ljubljana four times in the league . Štalekar took part in the 2017 Volleyball World League with the Slovenian national team. At the 2018 World Cup , he finished ninth with Slovenia. In 2019 he was signed by the German-Austrian Bundesliga club Hypo Tirol Alpenvolleys Haching . He will also play with Slovenia at the 2019 European Championship .
