Jérôme Claude Pierre Clère (born August 2, 1990 ) is a French volleyball player .

Career

Clère's parents were first division volleyball players themselves, so he got to know the sport as a small child. He started volleyball at AMSL Fréjus when he was eight . He later played volleyball at Toulon and AS Cannes before returning to Fréjus. There he joined the club's first team as a 17-year-old. In 2009 he went to the Club Alès en Cévennes volleyball. In 2015, the outside attacker switched to Nice Volley-Ball within France . In the 2017/18 season he was active at Narbonne Volley. Then he was committed by the German Bundesliga promoted Helios Grizzlys Giesen . With the club, he reached the quarter-finals of the DVV Cup in the 2018/19 season and was tenth in the Bundesliga . He then moved to league competitor Hypo Tirol Alpenvolleys Haching .
