Dominique Stalder

Dominique Stalder (* 1978 in El Paso / Texas ) is a German writer. His works can be roughly attributed to fantasy , but consist of dark fantasy, high fantasy , science fiction and dystopia .

Live and act

Dominique Stalder's family moved frequently. After El Paso he lived in Delmenhorst , Nuremberg and finally in Paderborn , where he also did his Abitur . Then he began to study technical mathematics and moved to Chemnitz . Via the Augsburg station he came to Schwabach , near Nuremberg, where he still lives today. Professionally, he works in IT as a system programmer in the mainframe environment. The author is silent about his family and keeps them off social media.

In 2018 , Dominique Stalder initiated the first Fantasy Festival in Schwabach and organized it together with the director of the city library, Annette Edler. On two consecutive evenings different authors read from their works.
