Safet Plakalo
Safet Plakalo (born March 4, 1950 in Plakali , Yugoslavia , today Montenegro , † March 19, 2015 ) was a Bosnian playwright and one of the few writers of dramatic poetry with a South Slavic orientation.
Life
Safet Plakalo was born in March 1950 in the village of Plakali, Pljevlja municipality . He attended high school in Sarajevo and studied journalism at the Faculty of Political Science. Plakalo spoke English and Macedonian as foreign languages . He wrote his first drama Vrh at the age of 26, making it the youngest playwright in Bosnia and Herzegovina . He was the director of the Sarajevo War Theater for many years .
