Saint Peter ( Jèrriais : St Pièrre) is one of the twelve parishes of Jersey . It is the fourth largest municipality in Jersey with 6532 vergées (12 km², 10% of the land area of ​​Jersey) It is located in the western part of the island and extends from the Bay of St. Ouen to the Bay of St. Aubin. Saint Peter is the only municipality with two different coastlines. In this way, it also cuts off the commune of Saint Brelade from the other communes on the island. Jersey Airport is on the municipality's territory.

It borders a total of four parishes: Saint Ouen in the north, Saint Mary in the northeast, Saint Lawrence in the east and Saint Brelade in the south.

Sights include the mills on the territory of the municipality:

  • The tower windmill of St. Peter ( St. Peter's Windmill , built in 1837 from Jersey granite, the only remaining windmill in Jersey, today a museum and headquarters of a Jersey Pearls jewelery factory ),

St. Peter forms an electoral district and elects an MP.

All parishes in Jersey, including Saint Peter, have an honorary police force made up of voluntary members who have certain rights organized in a police-like manner.

With St. Peter's School, Saint Peter has a state primary school, which also has a nursery attached. There is also a private elementary school, St. George's Preparatory School , for which school fees have to be paid.
