Saint Seiya: Episode G ( Japanese 聖 闘 士 星矢 EPISODE.G , Seinto Seiya Episode.G ) is a manga series by Megumu Okada . The work is the continuation of the Saint-Seiya series of the 1980s and was again continued in the form of two further mangas. The Sentai series can also be classified into the genres of fantasy , adventure and action.

action

The "Saints", the holy warriors of the goddess Athena , protect her goddess and, on her behalf, also the people from threats from other gods and demons. Their special fighting strength and abilities give them the “cosmo” in their hearts. In the hidden sanctuary of Athena in Greece, the Saints learned to control their cosmo and to draw strength from it. Each saint is assigned a zodiac sign and the twelve strongest of them are assigned the zodiac signs . These are the "Gold Saints".

Among the Gold Saints is Aiolia, the lion's warrior. He is avoided by the others because his brother Aiolos, Saint des Schützen, disobeyed orders and was killed as a result. Some of the warriors therefore despise Aiolia and are suspicious of whether he will not betray them too. In fact, Aiolia is often reluctant. After fighting a giant, he rescues a girl, Lithos Chrisalis, and takes her in at the lion's house. He already lives there with his Adept Galan.

At a meeting of the Gold Saints, as before, a dispute arises between Aiolia and some other Saints. The argument goes so far that they attack each other and finally the high priest intervenes. During the gathering, the sanctuary is attacked by servants of the titans under Hyperion . They want Kronos ' weapons , which are kept in the sanctuary, back and free Kronos. Aiolia is sent to fight Hyperion. Although he is injured, Aiolia Hyperion manages to force a retreat after a heavy fight. But his armor, his holy garb, is now badly damaged and the Saints await further attacks on the sanctuary. Therefore Aiolia has to travel far with his two adepts to see Mu, who is the only one who can repair his robe.
