Salah Saouli
Salah Saouli (* 1962 in Beirut ) is a Lebanese painter and sculptor .
Live and act
Salah Saouli studied painting from 1979 to 1983 at the "Institut des Beaux-Arts" in Beirut. In 1984 he came to Berlin and continued his studies with Marwan Kassab-Bachi at the Hochschule der Künste Berlin with a DAAD scholarship and studied sculpture with Christa Biederbick . In 1986 he became a master student of Marwan Kassab-Bachi.
From 1987 he completed studies at the Chelsea School of Art in London, in Caracas and at Arteleku in San Sebastian .
Saouli lives and works as a freelance artist in Beirut and Berlin.

- 1991: Studio grant from the Karl Hofer Society
- 1995: Scholarship from the Thuringian Ministry for Science, Research and Culture in the studio house of the Panorama Museum in Bad Frankenhausen
- 1995–1996: Scholarship from the Künstlerdorf Schöppingen Foundation
- 1997: Honorary Prize of the 3rd Sharja International Biennale, UAE Emirates
- 2002: Scholarship at the Nackel Artists' Castle , Brandenburg
- 2003: “Stiftungs-Kulturfonds” grant, Künstlerhaus Lukas in Ahrenshoop
- 2006: "Blickachse" art award ("Composition for Mondrian")
