Saleta Fernández López (born July 15, 1997 in Monforte de Lemos ) is a Spanish high jumper .

Athletic career

Saleta Fernández had her first international appearance at the European Youth Olympic Festival 2013 in Utrecht , where she took fifth place with a height of 1.75 m. In 2016 she was eliminated from the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz with 1.74 m in the qualification and in 2017 she reached eleventh place at the U23 European Championships there with a skipped 1.76 m. In 2018 she won the bronze medal at the U23 Mediterranean Championships in Jesolo with 1.76 m behind the Italian Erika Furlani and Sara Ašcic from Croatia. The following year she was eighth at the U23 European Championships in Gävle with 1.80 m.

Fernández was the Spanish outdoor champion in 2019 and indoors in 2018.
