Career

Altın played in his youth for Rot-Weiß Oberhausen , SG Wattenscheid 09 and FC Schalke 04 . In 2006 he moved to Wuppertaler SV Borussia . After he had only played one game for Wuppertaler SV until December 2007, he was loaned to VfB Lübeck for half a year . For the 2008/09 season he returned to Wuppertaler SV, where he made his first professional appearance on August 30, 2008 when he was substituted on for the game against 1. FC Union Berlin . After the Wuppertaler SV failed to stay in the third division in the 2009/10 season , Altın left the club. After the end of his contract in Wuppertal, Altin initially forced a move to the Turkish first division club Eskişehirspor . After he had already started training in Turkey, the move finally failed and Altin was without a club. He kept fit with the association of contract footballers and the second team of Fortuna Düsseldorf . From January 2011 Salih Altin played for the NRW league club VfB Speldorf , for whom he scored 18 goals in 33 games in the 2011/12 NRW league . In summer 2012 Altin moved to the Regionalliga Nord for VfB Lübeck. After half a year, the contract was canceled because the association had filed for bankruptcy.

Altin has played in the Landesliga Niederrhein for FSV Duisburg since 2013 and for the district league club SV Genc Osman Duisburg since July 1, 2017.
