Salisnyj Port ( Ukrainian Залізний Порт ; Russian Зали́зный Порт or Желе́зный Порт ) is a village founded in 1922 in the Ukrainian Oblast of Kherson with about 1500 inhabitants.
The village lies on the shores of the Black Sea and administratively belongs to the district council of Novofedoriwka in the district of Hola Prystan .
The place name means something like "iron port" or "iron port", this designation is said to go back to a pier system made of metal or a sheet metal roof of a warehouse in the town. Salisnyj Port is one of the most important holiday and seaside resorts in the Hola Prystan district because of its more than 2 kilometers long sandy beach. Due to its function as a holiday resort, its economy and the townscape are determined by tourism.
